The U2 Show – Achtung Baby present “Zoo TV: Live from Sydney”

Saturday 4th June

November 1991. The Berlin Wall comes crashing down. The Cold War is over. Irish rock band U2 release their seminal album ‘Achtung Baby’.

After spearing their way through the 80’s with albums ‘The Joshua Tree’ and ‘Rattle and Hum’, Bono and co. come back bigger (and more industrial sounding) than ever. Blending hits such as ‘One’ and ‘Mysterious Ways’ with fan favourites such as ‘Love Is Blindness’ alongside the world’s first use of video screens, the 90’s would never be the same. To say that U2 broke ground with ‘Achtung Baby’ (and it’s subsequent ‘ZooTV’) world tour is an understatement.

To top this all off, one of the last concerts on the ‘ZooTV’ world tour was filmed in Sydney, Australia. This concert, titled ‘ZooTV: Live from Sydney’ was a massive success. And to celebrate this fan favorite, “The U2 Show Achtung Baby” is bringing their one-off ‘ZooTV: Live from Sydney’ show to Yarraville Live.

Just as their loyal fans have come to expect during the life of their 20 years in the business, this show will feature impressive note for note renditions of all the songs from the ‘U2 ZooTV: Live from Sydney’.
